As we pulled into the tiny little town of Dundee, I first noticed the ice cream cone on the right of the sign for the hamburger stand we stopped at....
A half hour or so later outside of Plymouth, Wisconsin this sign on the side of a barn caught my eye..
Then, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin this historical marker...(we went searching for 1404 15th street where the first sundae supposedly happened, but it's now a parking lot).
And finally, on our way home today, this old International Harvester truck with a graphic of yet another sundae outside, you guessed it, a homemade ice cream parlor in Chilton, Wisconsin.As a native of Wisconsin, a.k.a. America's Dairyland, it's not surprising to see all of these things. But, dang it, I'm trying to lose some pounds here! It was tempting the entire trip to find the perfect ice cream sundae, but I was good - no thanks to my fellow Cheeseheads! :)

Good for you, Sarie. I admire your self-discipline. I've been very naughty lately, eating too many snacks and such.

Thank you for the nice comment Clelia! I do take pictures for a living, yes but I love taking them just for fun more, heehee. I have noticed that England is not having real summer weather. We had a week of it, now we're back to 60s and clouds for a few days. Wierd. Thank you for visiting!
