First, I want to thank everyone that visited here with me every day. It is so much fun to hang out with all of you. I have learned so much from you guys, and for that I'll be forever grateful.

Happy Monday everyone! It looks like it's gonna be a perfect morning here in southern Wisconsin. There's a hint of fall in the air - it's 45 degrees as I write this. I love it though. I'm ready for these crisp, cool mornings. They do wonders for my attitude.

More Fun Bugs

My new friend Lia, over at Life With Lia posted these very cool VW bug pictures yesterday and I just had to share a few of them with you. I am finding I all of a sudden have a "thing" for these little cars, and a big "thing" for Lia's blog. She's funny and smart and I always learn something new from her. Monte Vista, Colorado

I love these little interesting shops you find tucked away in little towns. It was probably a good thing it was closed. I have a feeling a girl could spend a lot of money inside in no time at all. (I'd pass on the skulls though, blech)

How about that paint job? Colorful scenes catch me every time.

Cute Minnie-Bug-O

It took a while, but the weekend is here. As you can probably tell, I'm feeling a little lazy as far as blog posts go this week. Summer finally arrived in southern Wisconsin and I don't think my body was prepared for warm weather. I'm pooped!

I wish we were traveling this weekend. I wonder how far we'd get in this old Minnie-Bug-O? I've never seen anything like this before have you? Hubby saw it in an RV dealer lot in Madison, Wisconsin. Look at how little it is compared to the newer camper to the right. It's called a MiniHome and apparently they are custom built creations on a VW Bug chassis. You can read more about them (and find plans to make your own) here. It makes me smile.

I hope your weekend is filled with gobs of smiles and laughter...
